Apple Watch v Android Wear: Who is the Winner?

2017, Wearable Wars Begins

Android Wear - Apple Watch - Smartwatch Phone

With Android Wear 2.0 out of the gate and the Apple Watch now sporting the fourth iteration of its software.

Like the smartphone war that still wages, the differences go beyond just price and looks – it's ideological. Apple's singular experience versus the choice and variety offered by Android Wear; Apple's huge fanbase and army of devoted developers and accessory makers against Google's mighty partners and powerful platforms.

Left Android Wear - Right Apple Watch (www.wareable.com)

1. Apple Watch VS Android Wear Tracking Activity

Over on the Android Wear side of the fence, most smartwatches give you step, sleep and heart rate tracking, though it varies between makes and models. Some of the more luxury watches like the Asus ZenWatch 3 don't even feature a HR tracker. Google Fit comes as standard in Android Wear, and in Wear 2.0 the Fit platform has got better with support for a wide range of gym workouts on top of the usual running and biking.
If you have a GPS-packing smartwatch like the Polar M600 you'll be better able to take advantage of this, not to mention, again, all the third-party options which become more useful in Wear 2.0. Standalone apps mean you can do a lot more without having your phone nearby.
Apple has been eager to underline the health and fitness capabilities of its smartwatch at every available opportunity, and its Activity Rings have become a bit of a platform of their own. As well as the Series 2's on-board sensors, measuring GPS, heart rate, steps, sleep (with third-party apps) and more, it ties in with the Health app on an attached iPhone.
As features such as Medical ID and ResearchKit show, Apple is serious about health, and with the addition of GPS and waterproofing - for runners and swimmers - the Series 2 is heavily pitched as a fitness device. And beyond Apple's own tracking, you have the option to load up third-party Apple Watch running apps like Strava and Runkeeper. Just note that the Series 1 lacks both of these features, so its tracking powers are a little more limited. With Series 3/watchOS 4 we're expecting Apple to push health even further, with things like VO2 Max and GymKit, which will let the Watch sync data with select gym equipment.

2. Designs

The design of this two competitors is much differents, while apple watch consistent with theirs square designs, and Android Wear have more designs like square and rounded. Apple Watch Straps is more attractive than android wear because big Watch brands is creating their own straps for Apple Watch to Aim Luxury Markets. Apple Watch continues to aim for the luxury market, but with Series 3 Apple has steered its wearables ship a few more degrees towards fitness. There's a choice of four models across two sizes - 38mm and 42mm - and with dozens of straps, meaning how high-end you go just depends on your budget. You have the aluminium Watch Sport; the stainless steel Watch; the aluminium Apple Watch Nike+; and the ceramic white Edition, which replaces the 18k gold model. You also have Apple Watch Series 1, which is a refreshed model of the original that gives it a few internal enhancements, but this one's only available in aluminium.

3. Verdict

Choosing your smartwatch is going to be largely influenced by what kind of smartphone you're currently rocking. Less so now that Android Wear works with iPhones but it's worth pointing out that you can't get an Apple Watch unless you use iOS. Moreover, if you're using Android Wear with an iPhone, you're still not going to get the full experience.
With Apple, the software and hardware have been tightly woven together, and watchOS 3 and 4 it feels like it's evolved to a point where it feels more intuitive. But Android Wear smartwatches have caught up in the hardware department thanks to better design, with companies like Tag, Fossil and Casio all getting involved. We also think it's finally snapping at Apple's heels in the software section, with Android Wear 2.0 offering a significant leap forward from what it was. Plus, you have the benefit of cheaper options.
There was no easy answer when we first put the Apple Watch and Android Wear side by side, and truth be told, that's still the case. Just keep in mind everything mentioned above and think it over carefully before making your decision.

Who is the best for you? Galaxy Note 8 or iPhone X Lets Discuss

The iPhone X will hit the market in November just in time for the holidays, but it will be competing with several other high-end phones. One is the Galaxy Note 8, which you can buy right now. It's a different device on many levels. It runs Android, so you don't have access to Apple's sprawling ecosystem. And it's much larger than the iPhone X. There are significant similarities and differences between the two phones, so we thought we'd fill you in on how they compare.

1. Security Sensors (Biometrics)

Galaxy Note 8 seems to have it all. There's a fingerprint reader, an iris scanner and face detection, all of which can be used to unlock the device. Face detection is a convenient but unsafe option since it can be tricked with a photo.
The iPhone X offers a 3-D face scanner called Face ID. The fingerprint reader (Touch ID) is completely gone and there's no iris scanner. But Apple promises that Face ID is much more secure than Touch ID, giving its 3-D face tech an advantage over the Note 8.

2. Is they Waterproof?

Of Course don't worry about a spill! Both phones are resistant to water and dust, so no need to worry about a dip in the pool or getting caught in a downpour. This a win-win for consumers, and the more phones that begin to offer this, the better.

3. Headphone?

Sorry for iPhone X there is no Headphone Jack!

4. Cameras

The iPhone X looks to have a killer camera, with new upgrades for excellent "bokeh," or blurring in the background of photos. Samsung has this feature too, but it doesn't appear to be as advanced as Apple's.
Year after year, though, Apple and Samsung typically offer some of the best smartphone cameras on the market. Of note: The iPhone X also has a new front-facing camera that can take fancy portrait shots, something the Galaxy Note 8 doesn't offer.

Bottom Note - Conclusion

Both phone is supported by wireless charging, The iPhone X has a large 5.8-inch screen but the Galaxy Note 8 has an even bigger 6.3-inch display. Both use OLED technology, though Samsung's screen is curved at the edges offering a more immersive effect. OLED screens are more battery efficient and are brighter and more colorful (typically) than their LCD counterparts, which Apple is using on the iPhone 8 and has used on all of its prior iPhones. The iPhone X doesn't come with any sort of stylus and there doesn't seem to be demand from Apple's fan base. Samsung's Note series includes an S Pen that slides into the bottom of the phone. Samsung fans love this for taking notes and sketching. Maybe Apple will add Apple Pencil support one day? Seems unlikely.

Most Wanted Cars Arriving in 2018! Can't Wait

So this is a new era of cars future technology and designs, lets take a look who is coming in 2018.

1. Kia Stinger 2018

Introducing the all-new 2018 Kia Stinger. Kia’s GT Concept Car come to life as a true Grand Touring vehicle, complete with rear- or all-wheel drive, premium amenities, and head-turning design. Unveiled at the 2017 North American International Auto Show and on sale later this year, the Kia Stinger is more than a fastback sports sedan. It’s Kia redefined. Intimate yet expansive. Minimal yet striking. The cocoon-like interior features aircraft-style spoked vents, metal-ringed gauges, and satin chrome trim. Available ultra-soft Nappa leather covers the deeply contoured seats, and the driver’s seat has available adjustable bolsters for outstanding comfort.

2. 2018 Toyota Camry/Camry Hybrid

The Toyota Camry is the best-selling car in America, but it’s never been known for its dynamic styling or driving prowess. Toyota aims to change that with the 2018 model, which features an edgier design inside and out, a host of standard safety tech, plus more powerful yet efficient engines.
In addition to giving the 2018 Camry a stance that’s lower, longer, and wider, there will be greater visual distinctions between the luxury, sport, and hybrid models. The standard engine will be an all-new 2.5-liter four-cylinder, while updated V6 and hybrid powertrains will be available.
All Camrys will now come standard with the Toyota Safety Sense suite of advanced electronic safety aids and driver assistance technologies. These include automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, and automatic high beams.

3. Lexus LS 2018

It’s a busy year at Lexus, with two major products due to come to market for 2018. Their flagship sedan, the LS, is completely redesigned, gaining a dynamic coupe-like silhouette that’s nothing like the outgoing model. It’s longer, lower, and wider than before, gaining 1.3 inches in wheelbase.
The standard engine in the new LS will be a twin-turbo 3.5-liter V6 that produces 415 horsepower and uses a 10-speed automatic transmission to send power to either the rear wheels or all four wheels. Four-wheel steering is an option. In addition to the advanced safety tech that you would expect in a flagship luxury sedan, the LS is available with a system that will actively try to steer around a pedestrian in its lane.
Pricing has not been announced for the 2018 Lexus LS. It’s expected in dealers by the end of the year.

4. Toyota C-HR

Arriving in dealer showrooms this April, Toyota’s new small four-door crossover comes with a starting price of $22,500. The 2018 Toyota C-HR brings aggressive looks and sporty intentions to a segment that’s better known for practicality and efficiency. The C-HR was originally destined for Toyota’s now defunct Scion brand. Like many Toyota products, the C-HR comes standard with emergency automatic braking with pedestrian detection, lane-keeping assist, and adaptive cruise control. While the coupe-like profile appears to only have two doors, the handles for the rear doors are neatly hidden in the roof support pillars. The C-HR seats five, but unlike most crossovers, all-wheel drive will not be an option.

5. 2018 Audi Q5

The redesigned Audi Q5 arriving this spring will be faster than the last generation and loaded with the latest in safety and infotainment technology. It will feature a four-cylinder turbo, a seven-speed automatic transmission, and standard all-wheel drive that can propel it from zero to 60 mph in 5.9 seconds.
The Q5 receives the latest in Audi technology, including an available Virtual Cockpit that replaces the traditional instrument panel with a 12.3-inch customizable video display. Audi’s MMI all-in touch interface allows control of the infotainment system using handwriting recognition technology in addition to voice or menu scroll wheel inputs.

6. Land Rover - Range Rover Velar

The Land Rover Family continues to grow with the introduction of the 2018 Range Rover Velar. It will arrive in the U.S. later in 2017 with a base price of $49,900. It rides on the same platform as the Jaguar F-Pace, which is one of our top-ranked luxury compact SUVs.
Three powertrains will be offered, including a four-cylinder diesel and a 380-horsepower supercharged V6. All-wheel drive is standard, and air suspension is available to enhance the SUV’s off-road prowess. The Velar debuts a new Land Rover InControl infotainment system with a pair of 10-inch touch screens.

Z10 Smartwatch.

Also the price is cheaper than Expensive watch on the market with less features.

What do you think?

Apple Watch Series 3 vs Apple Watch Series 2: should you upgrade? lets see

Apple Watch 2 Left - Apple Watch 3 Right

Apple has released the new Apple Watch called Apple Watch 3 on Sept 15, is it worthed?

The big new feature this year is cellular, making the watch more independent than ever. But do its new internals mean you should be rushing to trade in your Watch Series 2? Or should you hold fire until next year?

1. Design Changes?

Apple Watch 3
As we can see the design is not siginificantly changed from the older Apple Watch, its same design. Apple Watch Series 3 looks identical to its predecessor. Otherwise, it’s business as usual on the design front. The bright, OLED screen hasn’t suddenly gone round, and you have the same choice of a 38mm watch case (with a 1.5in screen) or a 42mm size (whose screen is 1.65in).
The only slight difference is that red spot on the cellular mode’s digital crown. And if you’re desperate for that on your Series 2.

2. Features Improvement?

The Series 3 has two big new features: mobile internet (on the $399 ‘cellular’ version) and a built-in barometric altimeter, which lets your Watch measure changes in altitude. How does the cellular connection work? A tiny little eSIM in the watch can ‘borrow’ your iPhone’s number to stream Apple Music and take calls, among other things. The stinger is that you’ll need to also have an iPhone on the EE network (which is the only one to offer the cellular Apple Watch, for now), and pay an extra $5 per month contract. It’s difficult to say right now how well the cellular connection will work, and how useful it’ll be. Unless you’re an early adopter, a ‘wait and see’ approach seems wise. But what about the $329, non-cellular Series 3? Sure, it has that barometric altimeter to work out when you’re climbing stairs or mountains, but is that the only thing it offers over the Series 2 No, there are a few internal differences that should future-proof it for forthcoming software updates and apps. Like the Series 2, the Watch 3 has a dual-core processor, but Apple says it’s a whopping 70% faster. There’s also a new wireless chip, the W2. It’s more efficient, has faster Wi-Fi and allows for the new 4G connection. While these do help make watchOS 4 feel a bit zippier (as we discovered in our hands-on), it’s unlikely the Series 2 will grind to a halt over the next year. If you own an Apple Watch Series 1, then an upgrade feels like a no-brainer. But it’s probably not enough to justify an upgrade from an Apple Watch 2, unless you’ve already spent months treating your old Watch like dirt and are tired of its scratched and tarnished face.

3. Battery Life?

Okay as we know the battery life is what we need on improvements.
Apple Watch

One of the changes we were hoping for in the Watch Series 3 was better battery life. It’s what we want in every new smartwatch and phone, if we’re honest. And, drumroll, we don’t get it, sadly. Like last time around, Apple has aimed for '18 hours' of use for both of its new models. That doesn't sound great compared to something like the Fitbit Ionic's claimed four days, but it does include a lot of time checks, notifications, 30 minutes of fitness tracking and 45 minutes of app use. Still, most of the Apple Watch owners we know don’t do quite that much, and are able to get up to two days' use between charges. And that's likely a good ballpark for the Series 3, unless you're streaming Apple Music for hours.
